Terms of Use

Last updated November 5, 2026

[CHECK: this is a draft. Have it reviewed before publishing, and set the date above to when it takes effect.]

These terms are an agreement between you and yake [CHECK: legal name and address] (“we”, “us”) for your use of the Screedio app (“Screedio”). By downloading or using Screedio, you agree to these terms.

Screedio is licensed, not sold, to you through the Apple App Store. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”) also applies. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

Using Screedio

You may use Screedio on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, as allowed by the App Store Terms of Service.

Don’t reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and don’t use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights.

Your content

Your screenshots, notes, boards, and cutouts are yours. Screedio stores them on your device [CHECK: and in your iCloud account if sync ships]; we don’t receive them and claim no rights to them. You’re responsible for having the right to use the images you work with.

Because your content is stored locally, keep your device backed up. We can’t recover content that is lost from your device.

Purchases

Screedio is free to download. Some features need a paid upgrade, offered as an in-app purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store Terms of Service. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region.

[CHECK: the current build sells “Screedio Pro” as a one-time purchase. If you don’t ship subscriptions, delete the next section and describe the one-time purchase instead.]

Auto-renewable subscriptions

Screedio may offer Screedio Pro as an auto-renewable subscription [CHECK: plan names, durations, and prices].

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Renewal charge. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. [CHECK: remove if there is no trial]
  • Managing and canceling. Manage or turn off auto-renew in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, at any time after purchase. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
  • Price changes. If the price changes, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before renewing at the new price.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restoring purchases

You can restore purchases on another device signed in to the same Apple Account using Restore Purchases in Screedio’s settings.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Screedio handles information. In short: it works on your device, with no accounts and no tracking.

Changes to Screedio and these terms

We may update, change, or stop offering features of Screedio. We may update these terms; if we do, we’ll change the date at the top. Continuing to use Screedio after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Screedio is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that reminders will always be delivered (they depend on your device’s notification settings).

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Screedio in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [CHECK: country/state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
